Valley View Food Bank

Valley View Community Food Bank has requested canned vegetables (all varieties) for the month of July.

Please drop off your donations on the designated tables in the narthex.

In the words of Valley View Community Food Bank Founder, Jesse Ramirez, “ending food insecurity in Arizona continues to be our goal. With the help of individuals, organizations, and faith based communities in the West Valley we have come a long way toward meeting that goal.” Every year we have moved forward, providing more food to more people. Each can of food counts as we work together to end hunger.”

Sun City Christian Church continues to rise to the occasion in helping to do something about this need each month by collecting a food staple that is in short supply in their food pantry.

Since we began our partnership with Valley View in May, 2011, our church has contributed over  70,000 pounds of food to the food bank to distribute to those in need within our community.
